St. Lucie Habitat for Humanity celebrated 25 years of building and repairing homes in St. Lucie County in December 2021!

Saturday, December 11th, 2021 from 6:00 to 9:00pm

To celebrate, Treasure Coast Lexus is hosted the Home for the Holidays Celebration! Proceeds from this Celebration fundraiser are helping to build three Habitat homes for low-wealth residents of
St. Lucie County.

Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, music, and a one-of-a-kind live auction in the stunning Treasure Coast Lexus showroom as they raised funds to build homes for Paulette Coakley and her two children, John and Sarae; Patsy Collins and her grandson Gary; and Tameshia Martin and her son Antwan.

Check out some highlights from the 2021 Home for the Holidays Celebration!

Homeowners in Process

Please meet our three lovely Homeowners in Process! Proceeds from the Home for the Holidays Celebration will go towards building them safe, decent places to call home.

Paulette Coakley is a single mother to son, John (aged 13), and daughter, Sa’Rae (aged 9).
She described St. Lucie Habitat’s donors and volunteers as planting seeds of hope that will forever be there.
Paulette is looking forward to building her home soon and realizing the stability of homeownership.

Patsy Collins is the primary caretaker of her nine year old grandson, Gary Jr.
The vision of her grandchild living in a safe home surrounded by a neighborhood full of families where he can feel secure playing in the backyard with friends has propelled her forward in her journey towards becoming a homeowner.
Patsy is most excited for the peace of mind that her Habitat Home will provide.

Tameshia Martin is a hardworking single mother of sixteen year old Antwan. She has her hands full caring for her child, working two jobs, completing an internship, and planning to start her own business.
With a future as a Habitat Homeowner ahead of her, Tameshia is able to consider the ripple effect that homeownership will have upon her son – maybe one day, she’ll pass on her Habitat home to him.

Thank you to our friends Mitch and Linda Kloorfain from K2 Photography for these lovely photos of our lovely HIPs!
