St Lucie Habitat for Humanity welcomes accomplished manufacturing leader Mrs. Terrye Branch to drive community development in Fort Pierce.

St. Lucie Habitat for Humanity, a leading local nonprofit organization dedicated to affordable housing, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs. Terrye Branch to Board of Directors President. She is an accomplished leader and advocate for community development with a proven manufacturing, risk mitigation, and supply chain management track record. Mrs. Branch brings valuable expertise and a passion for making a difference to their new role. Mrs. Branch boasts extensive experience in manufacturing, having progressed from the production floor to the superintendent and project management positions. Her commitment to excellence and keen ability to match workers’ strengths with assignments have consistently resulted in maximum performance from her teams. Terrye’s leadership and training skills have fostered successful team building and created a positive work environment. Among Terrye’s notable achievements is her management of the Protection of Supply (POS) project, which was completed under budget, saving an impressive $1.8 million. She successfully achieved zero unplanned downtime by implementing effective risk mitigation strategies with suppliers, ensuring uninterrupted operations and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, Terrye developed a comprehensive training manual for Tier One Suppliers on behalf of General Motors, emphasizing quality control measures and efficient receiving protocols. Throughout her career, Ms. Branch has demonstrated expertise in managing critical supply issues, implementing effective production control measures, and devising sufficiency plans to meet objectives. Her utilization of the Theory of Constraints (TOC) has identified and maximized bottleneck operations, improving throughput. In addition, Mrs. Branch has excelled in human resources and labor relations, successfully facilitating performance review plans, training and developing subordinates, and fostering positive relationships between management and union representatives. In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Branch has been actively involved in community development. She has dedicated over two years of her retirement to working with Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Flint, Michigan, serving as a Big Sister for over ten years and maintaining a meaningful relationship with her Little. She is a proud Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. member for over 30 years and an esteemed member of Grace Baptist Church. Terrye Branch holds a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Supervision Management Technology from Purdue University. She has pursued ongoing professional development, gaining expertise in synchronous material flow, labor relations, ergonomics, diversity, and preventative maintenance. With her appointment as St. Lucie Habitat for Humanity Board President, Ms. Branch brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a deep commitment to community development. Her manufacturing background, leadership abilities, and dedication to positively impacting society make her an asset to the organization and a driving force behind its continued success. Mrs. Branch is married to her husband, Steve, and they have one adult daughter.
